Police storm Jurys Inn after dad checked in with teenage in Nottingham | Metro News
A SINGLE dad was left "disgusted" after police stormed his hotel room when he checked-in with his year-old daughter. John Coupland, 58, was quizzed by cops after he booked into the Jury's Inn in Nottingham with daughter Jessica. John was left outraged by the hotel chain and Nottinghamshire Police - and accused staff of racially profiling the teen. He was arrested in front of his neighbours and interrogated for ten hours in a cell after Suzi Smith claimed she saw him assaulting her. John said at the time: "I was manhandled by three policemen and dragged out of my house in handcuffs. Her mum Kajchi Jiraekkaphob is an illegal immigrant from Thailand - who spent seven years trying to get custody back. A spokesman for Jury's Inn added: "As this matter was dealt with by the police, it would not be appropriate for us to comment.
